Process Vision to supply Gasum with GENERIS Energy Vertical

Process Vision will supply gas company Gasum with a large ERP system in a joint project with Digia, Solteq and Fifth Element. The system will support business operations throughout the Gasum Group, bringing improved internal efficiencies, resource management, and reporting. Process Vision’s part will be to deliver energy data management and customer data management, which will be implemented using the GENERIS Energy Vertical solution.

Gasum’s new ERP system will be based on Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 software. The system will cover distribution services, energy management, integrity management, project management, the management of financial, material and human resources, and connections to partners, as also enhance readiness for transport logistics management.

The acquisition of a new ERP system is part of a business strategy that Gasum has refined in response to changes in the operating environment. With this new strategy, Gasum’s business activities are expanding and becoming more diversified. In the company’s estimation, this diversification requires a system that better supports new business procedures. This project will ensure that Gasum can adapt to future changes in business activities and the corporate structure.

The GENERIS Energy Vertical solution, developed by Process Vision, is based on the GENERIS energy data management system, Microsoft Dynamics CRM customer management, and Microsoft Dynamics AX ERP, a combination in use for years already in electricity, district heating, and gas. The GENERIS Energy Vertical solution integrates energy data management with the Microsoft Dynamics AX ERP, and the system will also make it possible to manage multi-utility customers.
Implementation was launched in March 2012 and the project is slated for completion by June 2014. In addition to the core IT solution, the project covers the integration of the new and existing systems and extensive user training.

Europe’s largest energy company E.ON chose Process Vision’s GENERIS system

Process Vision Oy and E.ON Elnät Sverige AB have agreed on a delivery of large scale energy IT system for meter data management and balance settlement based on Process Vision’s GENERIS product. The system will eventually manage all the meter data from E.ON’s electricity networks in Sweden including advanced Smart Grid functions with option to manage meter data for gas and district heating.

E.ON is the largest energy company in Sweden with approximately 1.1 million customers. E.ON Elnät Sverige AB belongs to E.ON Group, which is the largest energy company in Europe.

E.ON has already a system for handling its electricity customers’ monthly readings in accordance to the Swedish legislation. The legislation has recently changed so that customers can even be offered hourly readings. Process Vision’s GENERIS system has market leader functions for handling energy information from Smart Metering and Smart Grid systems based on readings in hourly or ever shorter intervals. The background for the legislation change is an EU directive for increased energy efficiency and as a result reduced CO2 emissions.

Pori Energia selected Process Vision’s eGeneris electronic services solution for energy reporting

Pori Energia Oy will adopt Process Vision Oy’s eGeneris solution as its electronic services platform and a new version of eGeneris will be implemented this autumn. It will offer Pori Energia’s customers very flexible ways to monitor their electricity consumption at an hourly level. The service will be offered to all of Pori Energia’s customers: not just its own distribution and sales customers but also to Pori Energia customers connected to other distribution networks.

Pori Energia already uses Process Vision’s GENERIS energy data management system. The eGeneris platform is tightly integrated with the data managed in the GENERIS system, offering tools to fully utilize hourly measured consumption data and permit the development of entirely new types of services.

EPV Energy updates its energy data management with Process Vision’s GENERIS system

EPV Energy Ltd has taken Process Vision Oy’s GENERIS energy data system into production use for energy procurement management. EPV Energy, a balance responsible company that owns or has stakes in several production plants and production companies, uses the system for energy data management and billing.

The new system has a central role in EPV Energy’s key business processes. Herkules III acquires Process Vision to be part of a new leading Nordic energy IT solution provider

As the Nordic energy markets are consolidating and smart metering increasing, it has become obvious that also IT system providers must grow in order to meet these new challenges. As a part of this development, Process Vision has analyzed different market options and came to a conclusion that we would better make changes in our current business model. Hence, we have come to a solution, in which we combine our efforts with Norwegian Elis AS and Popkorn AS. This enables our company’s and products’ entry to the hectic Norwegian markets in a situation, when the decision on smart metering implementation has been made. Simultaneously this cooperation enables us to increase our position in the consolidating Nordic markets and strengthen the role of our GENERIS system as the leading meter and energy data management system at the business sector. Additionally we will receive significant support in launching our GENERIS Energy Vertical as a Pan-Nordic product, by taking in use Elis’ over 20-years-long experience in developing customer information systems to the Norwegian markets.

In the company reforming Norwegian Elis AS Holding investor company will own 100% of the shares of Process Vision, Elis AS and Norwegian consultant company Popkorn. Fortum chose Process Vision GENERIS solution for its future business platform

Fortum and Process Vision have signed today a contract for the large scale meter data management (MDM) system including professional services for consultation, commissioning and testing the system as well as migrating the data from Fortum’s existing systems. The main objective of the project is to enable Fortum to prepare for the new requirements of year 2013 set by the new Finnish regulations for meter data management. Norway’s largest energy utility Hafslund chose the GENERIS system

Process Vision Oy and Hafslund have entered into a Letter of Intent regarding delivery of a large Meter Data and Meter Asset Management System based on Process Vision’s GENERIS system platform. The final system implementation will house subscribers’ meter data for electricity network owner. Hafslund Nett with its 540.000 subscribers is Norway’s largest utility company and the fifth largest utility company in the Nordic countries.
The Norwegian process for Smart Metering roll-out (AMS), legislatively controlled by Norges vassdrags - og energidirektorat (NVE) is synchronized with the European standardization process M/441. The final decision for AMS in Norway is expected to be taken during 2011. With the implementation of a new Meter Data and Meter Asset Management system from Process Vision, Hafslund Nett will be well prepared to manage the challenges with a nationwide Smart Metering roll-out process.

Eneco and Process Vision have brought the system into production in the spring of 2008. Project was implemented in co-operation with Accenture.

In the past, allocation and reconciliation processes were running across different platforms and systems. Eneco was eager to improve upon process management and the quality of results. Therefore Eneco launched a project to harmonize and optimize their allocation and reconciliation processes. This also gave them a unique opportunity to streamline their overall IT system architecture.

The delivery is a very large GENERIS installation. “This delivery confirms our credibility in the Dutch energy market. Results show that our GENERIS system is more than a match for large scale metering data management processes. Process Vision earns Dynamics AX-Competency

Process Vision´s commitment to GENERIS Energy Vertical and to Microsoft Dynamics products has been rewarded with a Microsoft Dynamics AX Competency Certificate. The certificate is given to companies whose personnel are trained and certified with Dynamics- products and who have Dynamics AX systems deployed in the field.
